That storm ‘bout tore the Upper Valley asunder

High winds, hail, and one hell of a downpour

Ascutney escaped with just showers and thunder

With really no clue what we coulda been in for.

I was planning to have TNR out of town

But the venue on the menu is seriously soggy

Not to mention the branches and trees that came down

So no one should ride there, not even my doggy

But, here’s what I found, lookin’ ‘round, here in town:

Town Forest Trails’ status is about as good as any

So let’s hit some of the best riding around

I checked, to be sure, and it’s okay with Benny

Meet at 5:45 at the end of Coaching Lane. Divide into groups, and head out at 6:00
