Monday’s a hot one

And I know for certain

Spot on, it’s not one

For any exertion

If Monday’s a fun day

To spend in your undies

Then Tuesday’s a blues day

Unless you like thundies

Yup, Tuesday’s July first

But, it couldn’t be much worse

Cursed us with cloudbursts

Doomed us to downpours

And with lightning bolts interspersed

So, of course I am now forced

(Though depressed)

To decide

(And will not be reversed)

IT'S NOT FIT FOR A RIDE!

I’d rather ‘twas otherwise

But you know, it's no use

Must change course

No remorse

Think "Next week we'll break loose"

Though, I know how it hurts

When your bubble's been burst
