Not This Tuesday

We talked ‘bout riding Aqueduct, but to our dismay,

What with a wet weekend and lots more due this Monday,

Conditions are not exactly lining up in our favor

‘Specially if we aspire to being a good neighbor

Okay, I just may be an old fuddy duddy

But most trails are fragile when they are wet and muddy

Some trails can handle the wet traffic just fine

If I had fragile trails I wouldn’t want you riding on mine

I say we give ALL the trails a much needed rest

After the 50, for many bodies, that may be best

So in deference to our health, our honor and our trails
