Where/when Vermont Overland races will affect trail closures this weekend

Vermont Overland running and gravel bike races will be utilizing the Ascutney Trails on the mountain this weekend. The ski area and Mile-Long Field areas will be closed Saturday, and there will be disruptions/trail blockage in the Ascutney Outdoors Center area all weekend. We reccommend using the West Windsor Town Forest trailhead at 750 Coaching Lane or Swoops & Loops/Cloud Spin Trailhead across from the state park entrance, 1825 Back Mountain Rd., Windsor. Note that the Norcross Trail detour from Windsor Trailhead to the park via VT 44A is still in effect.
