Ascutney Trails at the Ascutney Outdoor Center and West Windsor Town Forest Trailheads will be closed to MOUNTAIN BIKING Saturday and Sunday, October 23rd and 24th for Vermont Youth/Novice Hunting weekend. Swoops and Loops will be open to biking as will the Norcross Trail, from the state park to the Norcross Quarry, out and back, while the connection to the AOC trails will be closed. All trails remain open to hikers, but they are cautioned that the property is open to hunting, so they should wear blaze orange and avoid the hours around dusk and dawn, when deer are most active.
Trails will reopen Monday until closing for deer rifle seasons November 13th until December 13th. Swoops and Loops and Norcross will close to all users November 1st through Memorial Day.
