Watching for a hurricane

Anticipation and ennui

What will you bring, Monsieur Henri?

Prob’ly not a monstrous storm

Bunch o’ rain’s the Vermont norm

No gale and all that that entails

Just rain enough to drench the trails

A day or two before they’ve dried

Not soon enough for Tuesday’s ride

Keep powder dry

Watch the creek
