Happy (Soggy) Memorial Day Weekend

Lots happening this weekend. Despite the storm coming through, the trails drain well and should be able to handle some weekend fun.

ASCUTNEY DAY Summit hiking trails will be open, so join us at the Stone Hut site at the Summit for the 57th Annual Mt. Ascutney Day Picnic & Hike

Saturday, May 24th 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Hike up on foot, or drive up the auto road and hike a half mile to the picnic site. Snacks and refreshments will be available.

GNAR WEASELS RACE.

Online registration ends Friday at 5:00 PM. The race is Saturday and occupies much of the trail network as shown in the map above. Come cheer 'em on.

BICENTENNIAL TRAIL.

Grand opening of the rerouted trail on Saturday, 10 am at the trailhead at the end of Coaching Lane. After a brief ceremony, a group will climb to join the Ascutney Day celebration at the summit.
