What Were You Expecting?

Folks, I had to wait this long

‘Fore giving you a shout

Didn’t want to get it wrong

The weather was in doubt

My thoughts were playing ping pong

But then I thought it out

My mind is set,

It’s firm,

It’s strong

I call it now: Rained Out!

One good thought to carry along:

At least we have no drought
