So excited to announce our Hump Day Pump Day Rides base camp will be up at the Ascutney Outdoors building! So go ahead and park in the upper lot.
Last week we ran two awesome rides, and will revisit some of the same terrain and some new this Wednesday in loops as we learn our home trails.
Between or after your rides, check out the base camp activity: a trail design station set up at the picnic tables to work on plans for our new mini skills park. This area will be geared towards beginning riders, with some fun obstacles to build bike handling skills. Bring your ideas and some art supplies to share!💡🗺✏️

This is a fun and supportive environment for youth to level up their skills. Grades PK - 12 are welcome, with group rides based on ability. All participants under age 18 must have a parent or guardian onsite to ride and bikes must be in safe working condition. The program is free for Ascutney Trails Association members, and if you haven’t yet joined for 2021, we encourage you to do so at https://www.ascutneytrails.com/membership before your second ride. Reach out to youth@ascutneytrails.com if your family is in need of a membership fee waiver, bike, or other assistance or accommodation to participate in youth programming. We are committed to getting everybody who is interested on a bike this season!
