Sun Ride (an Un-Rain Dance)

At least May rain has brought some nice waterfalls

Finally June,

And, none too soon

Thought May would bring

Our first monsoon

This gray and dismal May has left its mark.

While cold enough for icicles,

We couldn't ride our bicycles

Too cold, too wet, too cloudy, windy, dark,

The rain with its acidity,

Or maybe this humidity

Has got us down. We need a lift, a spark.

June brought us sun

But will it stay?

We cannot let it get away!

I know exactly what we've gotta do:

No matter what the weather is,

We've got to get together, kids

Together we will never lose the fight.

You’ve ridden for a charity

So now with all sincerity

Let’s ride in honor of our guiding light.

We'll Ride for Sun, and when it’s done

We’ll all have had a ton of fun

At the AOC Trailhead, Tuesday night.

449 Ski Tow Rd. at 5:45. Two inches of rain has limited our options, but we still can put together some fun routes for our ride groups that head out at 6:00.
