Windsor Trail Summit Snowshoe - Saturday February 26th
Join us for a snowshoe to the Summit of Mt Ascutney via the Windsor Trail. Date: Saturday February 26th
Time: 8.30am meet for a 9am departure
Location: Windsor Trailhead, 86 Back Mountain Rd (Rt 44A), Windsor, Vt. Please carpool where possible, parking is limited.
Gear - We're suggesting Snowshoes with cleats given the snow forecast for Friday. Please bring water, snacks and lunch. Dress ready for winter hiking and bring extra layers according to the conditions on the day.
Expect a 2-3 hour ascent (dependent on participants) up the Windsor Trail with steady climbing and roughly 2,400ft of elevation gain. We will descent back down the Windsor trail after a break at the top.
